Letters written by Major Jenkinson to pupils and staff of the first school at which he was Headmaster are now on the site's School History Section. A Mystery Play from 1949/50

Dear Dave,
I have had a quick look at the photographs in the Gallery and suggest that the play in The Dell
was a middle school production of Toad of Toad Hall.

This was definitely a play that was performed in the Dell and was Toad of Toad Hall.
I was one of the rabbits and have a photo of myself in costume.
I also found myself in the middle of the photo you published.
