I was in Normans and on seeing the Panoramic immediately remembered the experience of us Normans and Romans being squashed into the Inset Row Section 1 -  Row 4 Section 2, whilst Danes and Celts took prime place at the front. Was this an early case of positive discrimination?  Where were the pictures taken [the pavilion?] and what did we sit on? When were they taken [start or end of year?]

It looks as if the photo was taken at the far end of the playground which was between the 1st XV Rugby pitch and the Girls' Hockey pitch. The Tennis and Netball courts are visible in the background. The trees suggest it was taken during the Winter/early Spring time of year.
