Sports Day 1955

General
The Guest of Honour for this year's Sports' Day was Mrs. A. B. Clegg, wife of the Chief Education Officer. As the result of the fine organisation of Miss. Parkin and Mr. Leonard, the Sports ran smoothly, and fine weather helped to make it a most successful day.
This year the Championship and Relay cups were won by Price House and the Standards Cup was won by Talbot House.

The Victrices Ludorum were Patricia Brooke (Junior) and Iris Turner (Senior) and the Victores Ludorum were Hellewell C. (Junior) and Moore B. (Senior). Lowe won the Mile Cup and Moore won the Senior Half Mile Plaque. The Intermediate Half Mile Cup was won by Mansfield.
