School 1st V1 Results: ►Victrix Ludorum Cups Junior: Ann Vamplew ►Victrix Ludorum Cups Senior: Ellen Toulson ►Victor Ludorum Cups Junior: Alan Gibson ►Victor Ludorum Cups Senior: Richard Bateman ►Junior Athletes Cup: Osborne ►Half-mile Plaque Senior Boys: Norman Tate ►Half-mile Cup Intermediate Boys: Joe Byrom ►Mile Cup: Pead ►Brian Moore Cup for Senior Boys 440 yds: Wray Vamplew Albert Parkin won the Senior Boys' 100 yards in a time of 10.6 secs, which did not break Geoff Trueman's record of a straight 10 secs from the year before. Wray Vamplew won the Senior Boys' 440 yards in a time of 56.7 secs, not far outside Brian Moore's record of 51.9 secs set in 1957. In second place was Norman Tate, third was Gubby Allen, and fourth was Lowe. Brian Pawson won the Senior Boys' High Jump, The positions in the Senior Boys' Pole Vault that year were 1) Bateman, 2) Linsey and 3) Dellbridge. Byrom won the under 15yrs 880 yards, with Holmes second, and Ann Vamplew won the Intermediate Girls' 220 yards. Ellen Toulson won the Senior Girls' 220 yds, and Pead won the Senior Boys' One Mile.
